Jerome W. Jones, Jr., the artist from Richmond, Virginia,
traveled with his wife Kemery, and their son Jeromyah to Georgia recently to
deliver his first two paintings to Michael Vick, the No. 1 pick in the NFL
draft.
The Atlanta Falcon's quarterback first met the artist and his
wife after his press conference January 11, 2001 at The Boys & Girls Clubs
of Greater Hampton Roads thanks to the executive director, James A.
Johnson. Jones shared his portfolio with the former Virginia Tech
phenomenon and the rest is history!

collection of art and he has kept his word by commissioning Jerome Jones to
begin "The Vicktory Collection". This series of paintings
created for Mr. Vick's estate will chronicle the milestones in Michael Vick's brilliant
life and career.
Jones unveiled these two paintings for Mr. Vick at his home in
Georgia; "The No. 1 Mother and Son", a portrait of Brenda Boddie and her

three-fold portrait of the Virginia Tech quarterback.
